So simple and yet so effective - mozarella, cherry tomatoes, basil and dressing - an effortless, colourful starter.
Pity I don’t have close up photos - there were about 300 cupcakes on this cupcake tree - thanks to the brilliant and wonderful Alison Bell for all her hard work in the kitchen. There were vanilla cupcakes decorated with many different colour marzipan flowers, and chocolate cupcakes decorated with pale green mint icing and chocolate squiggles made by pouring melted chocolate onto foil in patterns that, when hardened, could stand up in the icing.
